'Beneath the Waves' (original framed watercolour painting)

This large painting is one of my biggest watercolours, painted on a sheet of full imperial-sized paper with large brushes and lots of water. I thoroughly enjoyed losing myself in this world of blues, greens and turquoises and making all of those water blooms along the sea bed. The swimmer’s pose was inspired by a beautiful action photo, with kind permission of a photographer named Louise Papaioannou.

This original watercolour painting is 75cm x 53cm in size, and is mounted and framed within a high quality 99cm x 78cm wooden frame, which has been hand-stained in a deep teal/grey colour, to compliment the painting. This frame is also equipped with UV-filtering ‘gallery’ glazing.

Due to the size of the painting, I’d prefer to sell this to someone who can collect locally from my home in Twickenham, rather than risk shipping it. However, please feel free to contact me to discuss other options.
