This miniature painting is my tribute to a truly fabulous owl found lurking in the pages of the Aberdeen Bestiary (created c1200).
As always, my version is created with a few liberties of my own, using watercolour, casein and 23.75 carat gold, mounted to a watercolour panel and varnished.
