This pair of majestic vultures is another little piece inspired by the illuminations found in the Aberdeen Bestiary (c1200).
My version is recreated, with the usual liberties and embellishments, using watercolour, ink, casein and 23.75 carat gold, mounted to a wooden panel.
The painting is framed and ready to hang in a beautiful 7½” square wooden frame.
